So, the question is why would you need an email marketing Autoresponder if you already have a blog?
Couldn’t you just start blogging, and naturally attract traffic to your site and –eventually build an authority blog? Perhaps so, but the chances of doing this with all the competition on the Internet is very low. But, with the proper tools you can speed up the progress and increase the possibility of building an authority blog.
One of the tools that most would agree is necessary is an auto responder.
What does an Autoresponder do?
What does an auto responder do? An auto responder can be like your best friend and assistant in marketing. An autoresponder allows you to write your emails in advance and schedule when you want them to go to zn email list. And as the name implies, it does all of this automatically.
An auto responder works along with what we call a capture page. A capture page does exactly as its name implies, It captures information especially the email address of the visitor. So, when you set up a capture page, you also need to give something in exchange for the email. This can be an e-book, A report, A Series of videos, or a cheat sheet.
But, whatever you offer, you need to make sure it is excellent quality. You need to over-deliver in content and quality. The reason why you over deliver with this free item, is you want the visitor to trust that you will always provide more than they pay for.
Once the visitor fills in the capture page, the auto responder takes over, sends the link to the download page that contains the free item. And then, it adds this visitor to an email list. That list will be regularly emailed good solid content you’ve written in advance. Most of these will direct attention to your blog. In fact it would be a very good idea, too have an email linking to each one of your blog posts.
Your Affiliate Offer
Of course interspersed within these emails you will also direct attention to the product you’re selling. Usually there is a sales page involved with this as well. If you’re an affiliate marketer for a company, the sales page may already be created and all you will need to do is their sales page. I find it most useful make this call to action every 4th email.
But of course, we will get into that aspect later. The whole idea of this discussion, is to understand that other tools such as email marketing autoresponder software is needed to direct visitors to your blog and eventually direct them to your offer.
Regardless where you are in blogging experience, every one needs training. Especially in this field. I recommend you check out “Wealthy Affiliate”. Visit my review of the “Wealthy Affiliate” platform here…
